Time to start your day! You Wake to go to work… shower, dress your best, smell your best, smile your best, and use your best pleasant voice all day long for strangers, co-workers, and prospects. Isn’t it interesting then that you come home and dress your worst, smell your worst, converse the worst, and smile the least! You put on your comfy clothes with the stains, no cologne or perfume, no more fake-nice voice, and off course limited smiles due to the cooking, chores, and running the kids around. How does this sound to you?
Off course there is something to be said for comfort and balance. It’s unrealistic to expect you or your partner to enter home and change into a tux, smoking jacket, or lingerie; but is it really that out of bounds to care a bit about your presentation while in your home for yourself, your partner, and your relationship. Nice pajama pants, sweats, fitted shirts, cologne/perfume, great manners, pleasant voice, and positive conversation.
